Now why is everyone so excited about this movie?
I kinda hate it.
After queuing for more or less half an hour, I got tickets for weekend price, which is expensive. Now I would’ve spent those money readily on Enchanted or The Devil Wears Prada or Star Trek or Resident Evil The Apocalypse or UP! Yes, Up. Wait, not on the Resident Evil The Apocalypse. And definitely NOT on The Carriers. The Carriers is surely the saddest excuse for a movie. New Moon is a still beneath The Carriers on the “List of Movies that Made Me Feel Cheated After Watching”, but still…
But I read the book. And watched the first movie. So I felt bound to watch this second one.
Yeah, that and those shirtless werewolves. =p
I mean, what’s with that girl? That sad excuse for a girl called Bella Swan. Left by her boyfriend and lost all purpose on life? So sad.
Useless little beeyatch.
I admire Victoria more.
Victoria is shown to have a mysterious but elegant personality. She could best be described as calculating however she was frequently bloodthirsty, whether it was when she was dying to kill Bella for her delicious blood on the baseball field in Twilight or when she was stalking Bella for revenge in New Moon and Eclipse. She is also marked as one of the most persistent and ruthless characters in the series. Like most archetypal vampires and femme fatales, she is seductively charming and rather vain.
She’s a vampire, granted. But someone killed her mate and she vowed revenge. And tried very hard, up to creating an army of vampires. And if Bella Swan’s mate were killed, I’d safely say she’s throw herself of the cliff and die. Blah.
It’s too bad Rachelle Lefevre will be replaced with Bryce Dallas Howard in Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. I kinda think that Lefreve is the perfect fit for Victoria; to prepare for her role in Twilight, she went to length of watching lion attacks on Youtube and acted like a cat for a day to get used to acting feline. During her audition, she jumped on a chair and hissed at Catherine Hardwicke (the director), assuring her of her scary cat abilities. She had also written a letter to Hardwicke on how she bonded and had a relation to Victoria.
